Tomorrow, Wednesday, June 17th, my debut Women’s Fiction novel, Maggie’s Way will be released on Amazon. Maggie’s Way is the first book in my Montana Bound Series. It will be available in digital print as paperbacks will be released at a later date.
In this story, middle-aged Maggie Abernathy finds herself alone after a long year of teaching. She believes that a summer vacation spent in solitude is the perfect medicine for a not-so-perfect year, until pesky seven-year-old, Chloe McIntyre moves in next door with her father, John. With Chloe on Maggie’s heels, Maggie comes to terms with her cancer, her meddling mother, and an ex-husband that lurks in the shadows with good intentions.
When Maggie and Chloe found their voices, so did I. After several years of writing, querying, and critiquing, something deep inside told me that readers would connect with my cast of misfits. Somewhere along the way, Maggie, Chloe, John, Glad, Beckett, and Bones became alive. My intent was to complete a single title, but as I grew to know the characters, I knew there was more to their stories than the events in Maggie’s Way. I am currently working on the fifth book in the series and am planning to head back to Montana with my friend, Kim to do a little research and soak up a lot more inspiration.
“Maggie’s Way is a heart-warming tale of love and loss, fear and friendship. With charming characters and a moving plot, Linda Bradley’s lovely debut gently reminds us that it’s never too late for second chances.” –Lori Nelson Spielman, International Best Seller, Author of The Life List and Sweet Forgiveness
